Get in the groove with our fairtrade certified Romantic Massage Oil, made using a carefully selected choice of natural oils and Grapefruit Seed Extract, to get you feeling loved up.
Cedarwood Essential Oil is thought to help tighten the muscles and the skin, so that your skin remains firm and supple. It carries a clean woody smell that is a delight on the senses, especially when mixed with our aromatic Patchouli Essential Oil, as we have here. It is thought that Patchouli can encourage the release of serotonin and dopamine, which are both hormones that ease feelings of anxiety and anger, therefore helping you to relax and fully enjoy the experience. It also has been thought to contain the power to boost hormones and in turn increase libido, and so is often considered as a powerful natural aphrodisiac (we didn’t call this oil romantic for nothing!).
Rose Geranium Essential Oil brings the beautiful scent of roses to this massage oil, and is thought to help in lifting one's spirits. It is a great balancer, so that your skin doesn’t get too oily or too dry, which is great news for maintaining a healthy looking complexion. It is both soothing and energising, so that you can relax and fully enjoy the experience. It works amazingly alongside another of our ingredients, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil, due to its similarly divine floral notes. Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is a very effective skin cleanser, due to its antibacterial properties, and actually helps to boost your skin cells into regenerating, meaning that it is a great for healing too.
Grapeseed oil, Canola Oil and Apricot Kernel Oil are all light emollient oils, meaning that they are all easily absorbed into the skin and don’t leave an oily residue behind. This means that while you’re enjoying the glorious aromas from our essential oils, these other natural oils are getting to work on taking care of the skin on a deeper level, nourishing and moisturising your skin, so you feel silky smooth. Grapeseed Oil is rich in wonderful fatty acids, which are super useful in helping to restructure and strengthen the skin and its cell membranes. It is also high in vitamins A, B, C and E which are all fabulous news for you and your skin, as the more nutrients the better! Apricot Kernel Oil is also rich in vitamins, and is thought to help retain elasticity, clarity and suppleness within the skin.
Finally, we have included Grapefruit Seed Extract, which is rich in antioxidants, so naturally cleanses the skin and helps to give your skin a boost.
