There’s nothing quite like the sight of an expansive forest, wild flowers filling the ground like a vibrant carpet, trees towering above, reaching for the skies. 

Shea butter plays a key role in all of our body butters, as it is a naturally occurring emollient.   This means that it can soak through the skin easily and create a moisture sealing barrier, therefore keeping your skin softer for longer. It is high in Vitamins A and E, which means it contains a high number of fatty acids, therefore acting as an all natural moisturiser. 

We have added Pine Essential Oil and Cedarwood Essential Oil to this fairtrade certified body butter, to emulate that rich woody scent you experience when you take that first step into the Woodland. Pine Essential Oil is definitely one to bring on a warm uplifting feeling, and we’ve been told it often reminds people of Christmas. Both of these oils contain antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, which work wonders for keeping your skin healthy. 

We use Apricot Kernel Oil, a neutral scented light oil that absorbs well into the skin, without leaving a greasy residue. It consists of mainly oleic and linoleic acids, which are both unsaturated fats that are known to have great benefits for skin. Linoleic acid provides moisture, which easily and quickly absorbs into the skin, due to its similarity to the natural sebum that our skin creates itself, while Oleic acid works hard to maintain the suppleness and radiance of our skin, therefore they are the perfect skincare duo.

Other ingredients include: Grapeseed oil, a natural skin toner; Corn Starch, to help create the luxuriously creamy texture; Peach Kernel Oil, providing your skin with a great dosage of Omega Oils; Rosemary Essential oil, for that warming sensation; and Grapefruit Seed Extract, a natural antioxidant.
