Feel the warmth of the Sun’s rays upon your skin, from the comfort and safety of your bathtub. We have combined a range of citrus essential oils to create our fairtrade certified Sunshine Bath Bomb, to help you to feel energised and ready for anything.
Orange Essential Oil is rich in Vitamin C and other antioxidants which means it is great at protecting the skin from harm, as these antioxidants work hard to provide your epidermis (the thin outer layer of skin) with the optimal environment to thrive and for you to feel your healthiest self. Paired with Lemon Essential Oil it is a wonderful natural remedy for fighting signs of aging, again due to its high antioxidant content. The antioxidants within defend the skin from any free radicals (skin harming molecules) that are trying to attack, therefore leaving your skin unharmed and maintaining a strong barrier.
We have also used Grapefruit Essential Oil, which is a great natural skin cleanser. All of these citrus oils are thought to help reduce stress levels and therefore we thought they’d be a great addition to help make this bath bomb bring you to that place of peace.
Another ingredient that we have included is Lemongrass Essential Oil, which offers a really fresh and fruity aromatic scent. It plays a great role in helping to reduce oiliness in the skin and in turn, control shine, so that no one gets caught out for having a shiny complexion (We’ve all been there!).
Lemongrass Essential Oil is thought to have calming effects for your mind, which is great news for a world that can sometimes feel super intense. It also contains plenty of purifying properties that give your skin a great detox treatment. Therefore leaving you, and your skin, feeling much clearer.
Other ingredients include: Bicarbonate of Soda, and Citric Acid, for that super satisfying fizz when it hits the water; Corn Starch, to slow down the bath bomb’s reaction so that the indulgent experience lasts longer; Apricot Kernel Oil, due to its wonderful moisturising properties; Witch Hazel, a natural liquid binder that we use in all of our bath bombs; Grapefruit Seed Extract, as its full of antioxidants; and Dried Citrus Zest, for that last energising boost of Citrus.

Beautifully made, with suede sole . Impressed to find the foot lined with soft fabric. You have to allow time to get them on and off, but they are very comforting to wear.
