Styling Ideas for Our Lanterns
Share
We love lanterns. They’re one of those pieces that instantly make a space feel warm and welcoming, whether it’s a quiet corner of your home or an outdoor gathering with friends.
All of our lanterns are handmade in India using traditional materials like glass and brass. Some are simple, others a bit more intricate, but they’re all timeless.
Here are a few ways we like to use them:
On a Console or Mantelpiece
Grouping a few lanterns together, maybe different sizes or styles, looks lovely on a console table or mantel. You get that soft, layered glow that instantly makes a space feel more inviting. Try placing them near a mirror to reflect the light and make everything feel a bit more magical.
Outside in the Garden
If you’re having people over or just enjoying a summer evening, lanterns are perfect outside. Hang them from a tree, dot them along a path, or place them on your outdoor table. We use LED tealights when it’s windy (or when we just don’t want to think about it too much).
As a Table Centrepiece
One or two lanterns on the dining table, maybe with a few fresh sprigs of green, and you’re sorted. It doesn’t have to be fancy. It just creates a lovely mood, especially during darker evenings or low-lit dinners.
Other ideas we love:
-
Tucked onto a bookshelf
-
On a windowsill with fairy lights
-
As a soft nightlight in the hallway or bathroom
They also make gorgeous gifts, especially for new homes or people who love cosy spaces. Stock is limited (as always with handmade pieces), so if you see one you like, we’d say go for it!
