This is a simple stunning piece of handicraft

Traditionally made in Chiang Mai this storage jar is firstly constructed from Bamboo 

Coated in papier mache and then hand painted,

It is totally lovely.

It is a traditional rice storage jar, but would also make an amazing tea bag caddy or even as a casket for the ashes of one you loved.
